Workshop on “big data and cloud computing in bioinformatics (BDACCB2016)”
in conjunction with
The 6th IEEE International Conference on Big Data and Cloud Computing ( BDCloud 2016 )
October 8-10, Atlanta, GA, USA

Welcome

With the advent of high-throughput technologies, a huge amount of biological data has been generated, which brings profound influences on bioinformatics. Bioinformatics is experiencing a new era from conventional analysis to big data analytics. Cloud computing is promising to address big data storage and analysis issues in the field of bioinformatics. The goal of the workshop on “Big Data and Cloud Computing in Bioinformatics (BDACCB2016)” is to establish an international forum for engineers and scientists to present their ideas and experiences in the fields of big data analytics and cloud computing related to bioinformatics.
